      Dominique Faria

Dominique Faria is a Professor at the University of Azores, where she is responsible for the PhD course on Insular Literatures and Cultures and for the Master degree on Translation studies.

 

She is the director of the scientific journal Carnets and Vice-president of APEF (the portuguese association of french studies ).

She has a License degree on Modern Languages and Literatures, French and English (University of Lisbon),and a Masters Degree on French Literature (University of Lisbon, 1998). The title to her PhD thesis (2008) is "Plaisirs de Lire. D'un certain roman contemporain". Her research interests are French contemporary novel, insular literature and translation studies.
